In America, we have a long, colorful history of segregation and tribalism. Black, white, gay, straight, male, female, Christian, Atheist, Liberal, Conservative. All of these are labels. Labels by which we allow ourselves to be defined. Through this, we lose site of the bigger picture. We are all humans. Humans who have the same ultimate goal; to live long and happy lives. Its time to stop defining ourselves by trivialities, and embrace a future where we can all live together, harmoniously, happily, with raised altruism. Until then, no matter how much technology we may create as a species, we will be no better than our quadrupedal ancestors.
