In April 2013, Abu Bakr alBaghdadi asked Jabhat alNusra and its commander Abu Mohammad alGolani to rejoin his Islamic State. His request was ignored and instead alNusra joined the moderate rebels in declaring a war against him and ISIS.. Today, however, things look different especially in Eastern Syria where is a very significant development on the battle ground in the last few days; MORE Jabhat alNusra commanders are joining the ranks of the Islamic State (ISIS) and swearing allegiance to alBaghdadi!! The implication of this is huge because alNusra has been LEADING the USUKF backed moderate rebels in their battles against ISIS and the Syrian Arab Army, if its commanders join the Islamic State, the moderate rebels commanders will have two choices; either to follow suit or surrender to the SAA. Obama was right when he said it was a fantasy to think that the moderate rebels could defeat ISIS or Assad... The question is; will he now have the decency to declare an immediate END to this regime change War of Terror against the Syrian people, their govt and army??
