In April 2015 at FringeArts in Philadelphia, will premiere a choreographic staging of DUST, a 90min experimental opera by composer Robert Ashley. In 2012, received permission from the composer to stage the work using the 1998 recording. This project has taken on even more weight upon news of Robert Ashley’s death on March 3, 2014. The project will include choreography by Megan Bridge, live interactive video design by Peter Price. Over the past several years has researched hardware and software platforms for interactivity between movement & sound and/or movement & image. They have performed many improvisations using “Wii” remotes and the Microsoft Xbox Kinect, two technologies Price has adapted for live performance. will continue this research during their April residency with Spread Art, developing a solid platform on which to create a collaborative, interactive, real-time video design for Dust. https://vimeo/67589962
