In April of 2008, I was laid off of work at Charter Communications. It was the Summer before Kaelee started Kindergarten so I decided to take the Summer off and enjoy my baby. School started and I was then pregnant with Austin. I was high risk and my hubby said to just stay home. He assured me he would figure something out financially. And he did. Austin was born, and we decided I should stay home with him for the first year. After the first year, we noticed something was different about him. We eventually tried daycare to see if it would help him, and it worked against him. It traumatized him. So, we decided I should stay home with him until kindergarten. The time has come for him to start kindergarten...Im a basket full of emotions. Im sooooo ready to work! We need another income soooo bad, and I absolutely love working. But, with Austin having Aspergers...Im scared to death for obvious reasons. He is on an IEP and will have a teacher that knows how to handle him. Im just still so nervous. Not to mention Kaelee is going into Jr. High this year. Oh my goodness! We need prayers. Please pray for Kaelee to have a smooth transition into Jr. High, for Austin to face his fears and learn to self soothe himself, and for me to have the strength to make him go to school on days hes losing it, and to land the ideal job for myself and my family. I have been putting applications out, and I must say Im excited and nervous all at the same time. I didnt mean to write a book. Lol. Thanks in advance for the prayers. :) We really need them.
