In December of 2009, a woman suggested a series of books to me. Mistborn, by Brandon Sanderson. Last year, unknowing that it was the same series, I met the author at Connecticon, and he provided me with a copy of the first book. Its taken me four and a half years to finally make good on reading them, and I regret not doing it sooner. The ending was masterfully done, and spectacularly realized. I hope that the books I write will eventually be half that wonderful. Thanks to both of you for giving me that experience.
