In Depth Interview with Akala I always like listening to - TopicsExpress

In Depth Interview with Akala I always like listening to Akalas interviews. I like the way he explains the problems in the society especially in Britain and its history. In the interview, he also talks about the lack of education/knowledge on African History (History in general really as well) within the young Black community due to the educational system in Britain and he doesnt just refer to the lack of education/knowledge based on the young Black community but also the young White community and young Asian community. He also states that self-education is very important on a variety of important subjects that are relevant today which include History, Science, Maths, etc. Keep doing good music, bro. You have been a inspiration for me due to your Knowledge and Music and an inspiration to many others as well. Also, I wanted to add that I grew up in a similar way to Akala and I also had positive experiences and negatives experiences of my upbringing. The negative experiences being that I was surrounded by people who would be in gangs and I would try to imitate them however the positive experiences were far more beneficial such as I used to go to a mosque to learn about my religion (Islam) and its teachings however despite this I didnt know much about the History of Islam and after I graduated from High School and started College in 2011; this is when I started my self-education especially on History (not just on the History of Islam but other history such as African History, Asian History, Western History, etc). After 3 years since then, I have acquired and gained much more knowledge than I ever had since High School and College from 2011 to 2014. I think this is how me and Akala were similar in that we once used to live with rough people but as we grew up; we learned a lot and started acquiring and gaining Knowledge on our own history (History of Islam and History of Africa) but also History of other nations and continents as well. I think Akala is one of the people that has vast knowledge on the History of Islam; he talks about the Moors, Timbuktu and in the BBC Free Speech program; he talked about how Baghdad 1000 years ago was one of the cultural and intellectual centers of the world at that particular time period unlike foolish people like Tommy Robinson who like to spout rubbish about Islam. https://youtube/watch?v=xTUy8JaVgBA
