In Feb 1959 when I was 15 I got burn with hot steam that caused 2nd and 3rd degree burns on the front of both of my thighs. That summer I stepped outside wearing a pair of short shorts and went to my father when he drove up from work. The burn area had no brown pigmentation and was pale pink. He put his arms around me and we worked back into the house. When I was about 18 I went to the beach dressed in a bathing suit. An attractive young walked up on me and asked what happened to my legs. I explained the accident and we continued to talk. My head said man-catcher. My husband never talk about the burns on my legs. I wish I knew how make contact with this very special young lady.
