In February of 2010 I weighed 190 lbs. One month later I reached the heaviest I have ever been at 194 lbs. I realized after getting my cholesterol checked it would be a good idea to lose to some weight. So, I took it upon myself (with help of friends who post work out stuff) to lose weight and get myself back in shape. I began working out (mostly cardio stuff and stretches) and eating much less sugar and processed foods. In no time at all I began to see my weight drop off. Almost 20 lbs in a year. It was slow but that was fine for me. Just this past May of 2014 I weighed 180 lbs and had got my weight down to about 175 lbs. I felt that was a good weight for me and I felt like I looked good at that. But strangely I felt like I was losing more and more everyday. I get on the scale at work and almost always noticed a pound or two gone. My appetite is not anything like it used to be. I have not been feeling my best now for about year. I weighed myself Saturday morning at moms house and it said 152 lbs. I decided it was a good idea to talk to my Doctor. Losing 20 or so pounds over a four year period is not a bad thing at all. In fact, Im sure its a good thing. But to lose 28 lbs in 4 months without trying to lose weight sort of scares me. Plus many friends have told me I look like I am losing weight. Its not often I ask for prayers. Because to me. There are always those who need and deserve them far more than me. But. Im scared. Something is not right. So, if you dont mind folks. Shoot one up to the good Lord for me or at least send me some positive vibes. I have all the paperwork for a complete blood work to be done as soon as I want to go to have my blood taken. They pretty much want to do a total blood thing on me and see what they heck is wrong. I talked to work today and asked if they didnt mind if I come in late tomorrow and go in for some blood work tomorrow morning. I cant eat anything after midnight and can only have water or coffee. I know there is a history of diabetes in my family. So, maybe thats all there is to it.
