In Fort Portal, Uganda, after a 14hour drive yesterday from Mother Health International, north of Gulu. We arrived in F P and drove around looking for a safe place to stay. Several inns turned us away, but one finally opened the gates for us. We were in bed by 3:30 am, and rose this morning to eat! We had eaten only lunch yesterday so food was a big agenda item. We learned long ago to bring jerky and trail mix, so that kept crashing blood sugar at bay. We are now awaiting confirmation of the travel arrangements to KIDA, where we will see what the Rev Ezra et al, are doing. Please continue praying for my oldest, Diane Cherie Porter, as she deals with cancer treatment. She is making progress in important areas and is struggling mightily in other important areas. Pain is a real problem. Thank you. I love her.
