In July 2013, after considerable domestic and international pressure, TEPCO reported, that the nuclear disaster is far from being contained. According to TEPCO, the crippled nuclear reactors continue leaking highly contaminated water into the Pacific Ocean. TEPCO has to continue supplying more water to the reactors to cool down the molten reactor cores. The financial cost of the nuclear disaster is estimated at USD 58 billion so far. Some experts state that the final cost will be significantly higher, as the global health effects of the disaster begin to transpire. ●~Anonsweden Noone (August 22) CEO & Founder at Nuestro Futuro
