In Northern Region we are very lucky to have a Competitions Committee of volunteers who work tirelessly to deliver a high and consistent standard of competitions across our region - from Northland, to Auckland, and right down to Hauraki/Coromandel. Our Regional Competitions Officer Elinor Swery has done a quick tally and summary of what this committee has delivered this year. Check this out.... 153 judges found 853 test papers marked 103 teams – coordinated in holding room 22 individuals – coordinated in holding room 325 people in support roles catered for 9 competitions 434 competitors 1 novice comp 6 district comps 1 interprovincial comp 1 regional comp 100 test papers written 100 scenarios resourced 160 patients & marshals sourced 120 patients for cas sim. A whopping huge job and our sincere thanks to every member of our Competitions Committee for the huge amount of work they do throughout the year! And to all those who have got involved in any way in competitions this year, thank you! We look forward to your involvement again in 2015!!
