In Philippians 2: verse 3 says, Do nothing out of selfish or vain conceit..... How many times have you heard that someone you know was sick or going through a difficult time and you thought, Oh Im going to give that person a call or send them a card? But you get busy or time just get away from you and you never do it. Thats a shame, isnt it? We each are given a number of opportunities to be God to someone else..... To show His love and compassion, to be an encourager, and sometimes we just dont do it. Good intentions dont go far In helping another person. What if, the Good Samaritan only had good intentions but no actions the man he helped would have died. We must go beyond the intention stage and put those intentions to action, even when its inconvenient or when other things are crying for attention. Think about others and how you can be a help to them. And watch the Blessings of God overtake you! The bible tells us to love our neighbor as yourself which is our reasonable service...
