CTAS Orchestra Concert Come join us for the Orchestra Concert on Monday, November 25 at 7 p.m. In 1982, musician and Board member Ida Sigmond founded the Instrumental Ensemble course for which she was pianist and music arranger until 1995. The course encourages the redevelopment of old skills and a chance to perform in a mini concert for friends and family each semester. The original class of eight students has increased to 30+ members today, many of whom enthusiastically return semester after semester. The course, now renamed Orchestra, is an inter generational collection of musicians who enjoy the opportunity to hone their skills under the direction of long-time conductor Ernie Meyer. The Orchestra celebrated its thirtieth anniversary in 2012 and is looking forward to many more years of making music.
