In Today’s Industry News… Cinematographer Ross Metcalf is developing his first feature as writer-director, a contemporary drama set in a WA seaside town. Metcalf has started to look for emerging Australian actors to appear in the as yet UNTITLED film. Russell Crowe is set to star in Gabriele Muccinos new film FATHERS AND DAUGHTERS. Crowe will portray a famous novelist and widower struggling with mental illness as he tries to raise his five-year-old daughter. And Russell Crowes film directing debut, THE WATER DIVINER, will begin shooting at Sydneys Fox Studios in the first week of December.
