In Whitney Point, NY., over six feet of water forced a cancellation of the remaining Stock, Mod and Junior Nationals. Over the past week, the Modified Outboard Racing Commission has met to discuss what to do about the remaining classes that have yet to run. The MORC has voted to reschedule the Mod Nationals for: - 200cc Mod Hydro - 200cc Mod Runabout - 250cc Mod Runabout - 350cc Mod Runabout - 500cc Mod Hydro These races will be held in at the Great American Outboard Race in Dayton, Ohio, on Saturday, August 24th . Entries will be $60 per boat. If drivers qualified at Whitney Point, then they will automatically be qualified at Dayton. However if there is not a full field of boats, the field will be filled by drivers at the race site. **Note** The Modified Outboard rule prohibiting other events from running these class on the same date as the Nationals has been waived.
