In a country where d headquarters of d secret service who ar suppose to smell danger 10,000 miles away nd even d mighty presidential villa are nt safe has questions to answr regarding it sovereignty and statehood. For both my govt teachers nd political lecturers at secondary nd university respectivly hav thought me that d most fundamental feature of a country is it ability to guarantee d safety of lives nd properties of its citizens, where it fails, d sovereignty of that nation is put to question. The Nigerian state has failed in its capacity to safeguard d lives nd properties of d people in the North East, North Central, South West etc. Sadly enough, d media aid to d president ll soon dominate d air claiming d effort of d administration in de-escalating d insurgency. And also instead of Nigerians to collectivly see it as a common threat to our nation, postings nd comments especially on social media platforms reflect sentiments nd ethno- religious jingoism. It is high time we wake up from our long slumber nd begin to ask those we authoritatively allocated values to, on how nd what they do to secure our future nd d future of the unborn. The governors are blaiming d federal govt nd d FG is blaiming d SG. Stop playing with our intelligents nd make Nigeria, our only rightful place on earth stable, peaceful nd united like any other meaningful nation in d globe. MAY GOD BLESS NIGERIA.
