In a previous post I stated that I would reply to a private message that I received on father’s day. Basically the message was all about how because of my political beliefs that I wasn’t fit or deserving to be a father. If you are expecting something politically correct then you should stop reading this post right now because it will be anything but politically correct! Let me do a comparison to make my point. I do all that I can to take care of my family by working hard, putting in a tremendous amount of time to build a business, and of course spending time as a father and husband. I pay taxes, take nothing from the government, and don’t feel that I should be entitled to anything from someone else’s work ethics and success. Now let me get to the crux of the matter. There are many out there that feel that they should have as many children as they want regardless of whether or not they can provide for them. Many are not financially stable enough to be able to have these children and yet they expect for their child to be provided for by others through the government which in turn means that you have to take from someone else through legislation or taxation. To be honest many of these children are born into poverty but the father and maybe even the mother doesn’t seem to care that they are bringing a child into the world that has little or no chance of having a better life than they have. There are even some that have more children so that they can get more benefits from the government to take care of their child. So in essence they are turning their children into a “paycheck” paid for by others. So the next time you criticize my beliefs then you need to examine your own beliefs!!! There is much more that can and could be said on this subject but my point is valid!!! So now you can try to tell me how “I don’t deserve to be a father”!!!
