In a recent response to my request for scholarly contribution through articles and research papers for an edited book on teacher education, a scholar (Mr. Baudha Raj Niraula )from Nepal revealed that National Center for Educational Development (NCED) is the apex organisation governed by the Ministry of Education. These days, if somebody willing to join in teaching he/she must have teaching license. The question arises that Do we have provision for issuing Teaching License in India? what is the significance of such License? Will it be applicable to school teachers, or should be extended up to higher education level? What modalities should be adopted to make such provision? Which apex organisation will be constitutionally fit to issue such License? Please send your response to educationbeyondboundary@gmail.
