In a situation like the one we have in Sierra Leone now, only fewer people can make extraordinary sacrifice. One of such Katherina who decided to travel to Sierra Leone in the peak of the Ebola outbreak to share her love with the children of St. Marys Home. Amidst the challenges, Katherina Helminger have been able to build strong bonds and social ties with the children and provided lots of training on hygiene and setting up of goals. However, as the situation has gotten worse with more that 600 people infected and more that close to 300 deaths under the current state of health emergency owing to the violent nature of the Ebola epidemic, she has been called home by her family, but she does not and to leave the kids and Go. We have however encouraged her to go home and pray for us and come back when everything subsides, it will all be ok pretty soon through Christ, Amen. Katherina, we will miss you and we look forward to your coming back. Your will and sacrifice must be commended and we admire your selfless efforts and sacrifice. She is now in Freetown and will leave on Wednesday for Salzburg God bless you.
