In a world where the pace was not governed by the sheer increase in population or the desired recreational and sophisticated diversity of a modern high technology machine operated world do not exist, a seven day week may well have sufficed. However, now we are racing to keep pace whilst at the same time trying to work hard and fast enough to make enough money to take us to the next post. Then we take a breath or two, worship the god of consumerism, kick the sandman in the teeth, smoke another Harry Rag and run the race another week. While the rich and elite live the life without a care for the rat race which supports them. People are too well educated and sophisticated in the 21st Century to be bound by this tight cycle of time. It has a huge psychological impact on our whole perception of life and the wheels which turn upon this cosmic ocean.
