In about six weeks, November 30, to be exact, Sam will be preaching his last sermon as pastor of Abundant Life Community Church. It wasnt an easy decision - deciding to step back from the responsibility hes happily carried for the last 30+ years, but he and I both believe this is exactly what he is supposed to do. Our church is hosting an amazing service at 10:00 a.m., and a party afterward for all of the friends we have made both in Grass Valley and anywhere else we have ministered. Theyve rented the Veterans Hall in G.V. and are providing a meal for everyone. Sam will pass the baton on to our new pastor, Gabe Barber, and a new era of retirement will begin for us. I tried to tag everyone in the invitation, but Im never quite certain that Facebook does a good job of communicating. THIS is your invitation. If you read this, and know and love us, you are invited.
