In addition to alerting on low and high blood sugars, Bo is trained to get help on command. Getting help looks like Austin giving Bo the command to get help and Bo going to find a person and bringing the person back to Austin. Weve started training this command when Bo was a young dog and we practice it a few times a week. One exercise we do as part of Bos get help training involves hiding on Bo and having him find us. The idea being to train him to go and look for a person. In this video, I lag behind Bo and while hes not watching I hide. Once he realizes Im not with him he starts looking for me.
