In almost 38 years I have been to quite a few funerals of young people, old people, and every age in between, but I have never witnessed what I did today. When I was informed of a celebration of life, I had pictured something not so fun, but I was game. I, and everyone else, were informed to wear our pajamas and flip flops to a funeral home to celebrate the 19 years of Aireal Nicole. Although, some were not in the proper attire, I went comfy and enjoyed a wonderful time remembering the strongest young lady that I have ever had the honor of knowing. She touched the lives of so many, as you could see from the turn out for her going home party. This was just one of the songs that was played today as we said our Earthly goodbyes to her. Kiddo, you were ONE OF A KIND and I LOVE YOU dearly.
