In an effort to stay on the positive side of the fence, understanding that any negative energy is a shift away from forward progress, I didnt post this article yesterday. So today I sat down in my fresian onesie and tried to think of all the positive things that can come as a result of our CCC being so deep in the pooh that even the boys from South Canterbury Finance are laughing at them Here it is. The upside of being Super Broke......... 1) They have learned from their mistakes and we will all be better off as a result. Phew. 2) Rates will go down. Wont they ? 3) We can now employ monkeys with magic eight balls to make our important decisions saving millions. Mike my neighbor says that even Monkeys with a magic eight ball wouldnt have landed us 900 million dollars in the hole. 5) I can relax safe in the knowledge that the situation cant get nay worse. What a relief, I was starting to worry there for a sec. 6) We can no longer afford a live whale for our Whale Pool. That was gonna cost heaps I reckon. 7) We get to have some really cool discussions about all of the things we could do if we werent 900 million dollars in the poopa. Thats where the live whale idea came from. Its a goodie eh 8) The CCC will have to start using 1 ply toilet paper or that brown shiny paper we used when we were kids. This should be funny. Look out when you shake hands with the mayor. That stuff is thin and dangerous 9) You get a free live whale with every 10 monkeys with magic eight balls purchased in the month of August. Things are looking up folks 10) This community will find a way to overcome all adversity to walk as a shining light for all communities to follow. Can you think of any upsides to being Super Broke ? Mine are awesome. lol.
