JOB OPENING - TURTLE LAKE, WI We have openings in our Tool Room for Tool & Die Makers. 4 openings total! 1st shift - 7am to 3pm, Monday thru Friday (and voluntary OT on Saturday) 2nd shift - 3pm to 11pm, Monday thru Friday (and voluntary OT on Saturday) Duties: Performs skilled tasks using a variety of tools to construct, modify, maintain, calibrate and repair machine shop tools, dies, jigs and fixtures. Works with engineers and tool designers to develop and modify tools. Works from blueprints, databases, specifications and diagrams. Uses precision instruments. Primary Responsibilities: Must be able to make intelligent decisions for any mold repair problems that arise when supervisors are not available. Must work with extreme accuracy on any type of tool work. Set up and operate all machine tools and equipment. Use various hand tools and precision measuring instruments. Heat treat small tool and die parts, make special cutters and mills, dress grinding wheels as needed. Weld and braze with Heli Arc, Oxy or TIG equipment. Repair and replace parts in hydraulic equipment. Install electrical items for plastic molding and die cast tooling. Make ejector pins, core pins, make gate changes, KO bars, clean and polish mold cavities. Basic computer skills needed. Preferred Education: 2 year degree in Machine Tool Preferred Skills: prefer a minimum of 4 years previous experience Pay typically starts at $15.00/hour if you have any schooling in this field.
