In an eye-tracking experiment, we investigated the interplay - TopicsExpress

In an eye-tracking experiment, we investigated the interplay between visual and linguistic information processing during time-telling, and how this is affected by speaking in a native and a non-native language. Do bilingual speakers of languages with different linguistic characteristics show eye movements that reflect the word order properties of the language being produced? Does the word order of the non-produced language have any effects in their eye-movement behaviour? These issues ere explored in a paper published in Language and Cognitive Processes: tandfonline/doi/abs/10.1080/01690965.2013.857782#.UozrmqqZ-Xo
