In any investment, always monitor yourself no matter what assurances your wealth or relationship managers tells you. In any case my personal feel is no other instruments can appreciate as much as properties with moderate risks. Be it unit trust, dual currencies, all sort of products the banks throw at us... all loses money. you just lucky to make some or retain your capital. Stocks would much a risk. But a golden rule is to monitor your own investment. DO NOT delegate people to look after money. No one will except yourself.
