In case anyone needed proof that we made the right decision about homeschooling Cooper. He currently has an A in math and first time ever actually enjoys reading. Major breakthrough today. He asked if he could get a book today. In the past this has always been prompted by either me or Erin. And then actualky reading it was a chore if he even read it. Well we bought him a book and He immediately cuddled up on the couch and began reading for fun. When we became distracting he excused himself and went to his room. He emerged an hour and a half later announced with a hugh grin that he completed the book and couldnt wait to pick up the next book in the series. This wouldnt have been possible if he remained in public school. Anyone who knows Erin Meares knows how important the love of reading is to him. The time and effort he has put in to educating our son really shows. Thank you to our support system! Kandye Tucker, Robert Tucker and every one else along the way.
