In case you are wondering what judges to vote for. Okay, I have had enough requests, that I will just post it here: For the Supreme Court: Chief Justice - Mark Martin - there is no Democrat running. Martin is an experienced jurist. His opponent is a female, black Republican that has been championed by Sean Hannity. Martin Seat - Sam J. Ervin, IV - his opponent is Robert N. Hunter, a Conservative Republican ideologue who said during his 2008 campaign that he opposed Roe v. Wade and Lawrence v. Texas AND that Supreme Court cases did not guarantee the “right to immoral conduct.” Hudson Seat - Robin E. Hudson - her opponent is Eric Levinson, a Republican who served in the Bush Administration. Enough said. Beasley seat -- Cheri Beasley -- her opponent Mike Robinson is a Republican being supported by the far right. For the Court of Appeals Robert C. Hunter Seat - Lucy Inman -- her opponent is Bill Southern, a Conservative Republican. For grins you can see one of his supporters here: https://youtube/watch?v=V0z1QGX6izo Stroud seat - - write someone in is all I can say since she is running unopposed. Davis Seat -- Mark Davis -- his opponent is Paul A. Holcombe is characterized as Conservative by Republicans. John C. Martin Seat - This one is a nightmare. There are 19 candidates and any one can win with a simple plurality -- as in less than 6% of the vote. It’s MADNESS. There are good candidates and bad candidates, but I have come to the conclusion that John Arrowood has the best chance to build a real coalition. He has served on the Court of Appeals to fill an unexpired term. He was defeated by Robert N. Hunter. He is openly gay, and I think that gives him an edge in bringing progressives together.
