In case you havent heard, Doris Smith died tonight around 6:30 PM. I know a lot of you commented on how she kept your kids and everyone loved her!! She was certainly a wonderful Christian lady! We were neighbors to her way back when! RIP Doris! Also, I would like to ask my Facebook friends to pray for a teeny, tiny baby girl, Harper. She was born at 27 weeks after her mom was care-flighted to Harris Hospital this past weekend. They tried to prolong her delivery, but she decided not to wait!! Harper is the first granddaughter of Bill & Linda Foster (Bangs ISD Superintendent)! She made her appearance 8-20 around 9:15 PM weighing in at 2.1#s, and was 14 3/4 long. Both Mother and baby seem to be doing very well with all the modern medical equipment in the NICU, but the family know theres a lot ahead of them! Even though Ashley (Bills daughter) had a natural birth, she has had some complications and will not be able to hold the baby for about a week. Please PRAY without ceasing that this young baby and her Mom receive great care. Thanks!!
