In case you missed the announcement yesterday, I’m excited to introduce a package of bills that would create jobs in Pennsylvania and benefit the environment through tax credits for sustainable development and manufacturing practices. This legislation has positive impacts on a number of issues in #Pennsylvania. First and foremost, we need to bring jobs back to the Commonwealth. Passing this legislation is a real and tangible step our legislature can take to help spur job creation. In addition, on a daily basis, I hear from my constituents that the environment needs to be a top priority for the General Assembly. There are people who believe that being business friendly and environmentally conscientious are two mutually exclusive ideologies. I believe this package of legislation proves that notion wrong. We possess the capacity and the ability to foster job creation while simultaneously protecting our #environment. On a smaller scale, this package will help families not only by creating jobs but also by reducing energy costs. These are common sense solutions for complex problems.
