In cases that your restaurant will be located at a level lower than main sewer these are the following considerations: 1. There should be no comfort room since Setting up Septic Tank is not allowed by law in basements. 2. Sump Pit with Sump Pump should be installed for possible flood draining in which all floor drains should be connected. 3. Kitchen Sinks should have Grease Traps (effectivity to trap grease should be at 100%) connecting to Sump Pit. 4. All trapped grease should be hauled out every end of daily operations. 5. All lavatories should have drain traps since no solid waste should be drained to Sump Pit. 6. All collected solid waste should be manually hauled-out. 7. Sump Pit should be properly maintained.
