In effort to reduce children left in hot motor vehicles, The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office will be periodically reminding parents and caregivers to do a #ChildCheck on Social Media. During the morning rush hours when most people are driving to work and dropping of their children and at noon during the hottest time of the day, PBSO will send out a Tweet to remind everyone to check for their child and assure that they are NOT in the car. We will report on current temperatures, give current statistical information and safety tips on these social media posts, all in effort to reduce and avoid “hot car deaths”.
