In elementary at recess time, a bunch of us would gather at the top of a grass hill and kick one of our shoes off all at once on a count down from three. Sooooo lame, but I remember it vividly to this day because I had kicked my shoe off far enough to hit one of the other kids at recess. laughter/surprise instantly was my immediate reaction (because one; it was a kid I didnt care for and was rude to boot, and two; the face...priceless) then embarrassment and shame took over only because no one else found it as amusing as I so visibly and obviously did. Everyone had retreated their other shoes rather quickly. And mine clearly still absent from my foot, required me to walk my little butt down, walk of shame more like. And politely ask for my shoe back. No one was allowed to kick off there shoes anymore after that day. Lol Wooops
