In his words “Our deep conditioned responses to almost all - TopicsExpress

In his words “Our deep conditioned responses to almost all issues of our daily life are based on opinions, ignoring the truth, that an opinion about a fact is not the fact. Conditioned responses originate from memory and memory is always past, for him observation was most important, and observation can only be in the present. With every passing moment present becomes past, memory, which only invokes the process of thought. Thinking about the past has a direct connect with making projections about the future, but what we don’t realize, is the fact that this act of ours results in absolute disconnect from being present and observant. He would always say that “All is life and life is now”. And would go to immense lengths to try and explain this to us, that, there is no shame in not being able to achieve or succeed as achievement is a figment of our imagination, the future, and feeling shameful in not being able to achieve is a function of memory, the past, combination of both these entities results in a complete disconnect from the present. Trying to be successful is only to feel secure, and security leads to stagnation, it is only when you are vulnerable and insecure that learning happens, only because you are open to new and observant of your surroundings. It is only when you are observant to the fullest that you act, but all of us almost always react to, or enact, whatever we have learned. His emphasis on learning was not without dynamism, we are just a factor of time, what we learn now is memory the next moment, hence unlearning, making oneself vulnerable and insecure is the only way forward, to make room for to learn more. Rejecting the old, to pave way for the new, rather than the other way round. Thankyou all!
