In honor of Canada Day (every July 1), here are a few quick facts about Canada, for our American neighbors: Canada has 10 provinces (like states) and 3 territories in the far north. Vancouver and Victoria are the two largest cities in the province of British Columbia (BC), on Canadas West Coast, north of Washington state. Whistler ski resort is in BCs coastal mountain range, north of Vancouver. The Rocky Mountains separate BC from the next province to the east, oil-rich Alberta. Toronto, Canadas largest city, is in the province of Ontario. Montreal is a city in the province of Quebec, Canadas only province where the official language is French, not English. More later.
