In honor of Veterans Day, Central Division reached out to Freedom Station and wanted the residents to know we havent forget them or their service to the country. Warrior Foundation Freedom Station housing complex is serving military heroes in transition. These veterans have all received severe injuries while serving. Here they have a chance to rehabilitate back into society and adjust to life with their disabilities. On November 10, 2014, Central Division officers went to Freedom Station and provided breakfast for the residents. Officers had a chance to spend time with residents, some of their family members, and the president of the foundation. This is a fantastic place and a great group of individuals. We look forward to the next visit and more opportunities to serve these residents. SDPD would like to thank all Veterans for their service.
