In honor of Veterans Day {God Bless them ALL!} a couple of weeks ago my sister, her eldest son, & I took my father who was a Tank Commander in the US Army stationed in Berlin, Germany in the early 60’s during The Cold War [where he met my teenage Mother born & raised in Germany] to see the movie ‘The Fury’ starring Brad Pitt. Some scenes I saw my Dad & some scenes I saw my Mom. The Movie was ‘Great’ & the Night was ‘Fantastic’ just being able to sit next to my Dad and watch such a film was a ‘Blessing’. He shared so much Insight & Knowledge about the Army, Tanks, War, & Choices during those trying-hard-times and how it all impacted ‘both’ of their lives and everyone around them. I also had an influence on how they ‘Lived & Live’ their Lives & their Faith ‘NOW & THEN’ with Hope thru Fortitude and Perseverance. While ‘ALWAYS’ remembering not to forget to be Grateful! {DAILY!} AND NEVER, NEVER NEGLECT AND/OR TAKE FEEDOM FOR GRANTED!!! I will always remember this night out with some of my family…especially my Dad. I’m very Proud & Blessed to have both of them as my Parents and Examples on My Journey!!!
