In honor of a woman I know very well.. I JUST found out that about 2 months ago, she was the VICTIM of acquaintance rape. It was a fellow college student she knew that she ran into after a while. Evidently, he had been followign her to the point he found out where she lived. He came by her house, and they began talking. Because it was late, she allowed him to sleep on the couch in her living room (YES SHE KNOWS IT WAS WRONG). She went to her bedroom, changed, and went to bed. She woke up with him assaulting her. Again, she is JUST NOW coming forth about it. The problem is, he LIED about his name & she has NO contact info for this man, so the police have basically said theres nothing they can do. She is dealing with alot of pain, guilt, shame, and turmoil... and even spirits! Since this happening, she has decided to shut her emotions/heart down. She has someone in her life who cares for her dearly, but she refuses to be a victim again. She refuses to be strung along & be hurt anymore. #SURVIVOR #Prayers
