In honor of the historic 100+ year old Dr Floyd Moreland Dentzel-Loof Carousel in Seaside Heights staying in Seaside Heights - here is a video I took in August. For those who didnt see my previous post - here it is... --------------------- I had not seen this earlier but fellow Jersey Shore fan - Jim Pittaluga - just told me of this. Seaside Heights has acquired the historic 100+ year old Dr Floyd Moreland Dentzel-Loof Carousel and so it seems as if it will be not only staying right here at the Jersey Shore - but also in Seaside. This is great news for all those who were upset about the Carousel. In addition - Casino Pier & Breakwater Beach is planning on a major expansion with the land that was exchanged for the carousel. Casino Pier acquired land around the pier - north and south - as part of the deal. I had previously heard that Casino Pier did not want to build further out into the ocean which is both more expensive and susceptible to storms and preferred to build wider on the beach. https://youtube/watch?v=NT8BUcxg9x8
