In islam men and women are both equal....but they are not identical. Equality does not mean identicality. There is this misconception that paradise is only made for men, this misconception can easily be removed by a single verse of the Holy Quran, when Allah (swt) says; And whoever among you does righteous deeds wheither be a male or a female, while he is believer, We will make him have a good life, ..... {Quran, 16:17} And our noble Prophet Muhammad (saw) says; Any one who brought up two daughters correctly, built them matured, they will be as close to me as this two fingers of mine (he pointed at his two fingers) on the day of judgement......just because the spiritual rights of woman in islam are equal to that of man............ What could you say the womens rights in islam they are modernising or they are outdated???
