In lieu of doing an ice bucket challenge (sorry William - TopicsExpress

In lieu of doing an ice bucket challenge (sorry William Kellermeyer, thanks for thinking of me when nominating!), Im gonna share this. I didnt know much about ALS until I got until Jason Becker a few years ago. He was an incredibly talented guitarist whose career was ended by ALS. Now, he cant move and can only communicate with a system of moving his eyes that his family developed. He has continued to write music, albeit at a slow rate because of obvious difficulties. The loving people surrounding him have grinded out parts on a keyboard for him after he describes what to play. After getting close enough, Becker uses Logic Pro to compose pieces (I believe the computer program tracks his eye motions with a camera with blinking serving as the click function.). This is one of the pieces hes written in this fashion. Many other guitarists have gotten together to help record the pieces hes written out of respect for their comrade who is incapable. https://youtube/watch?v=14_L9DWz7bg
