In light of International Womens Day and Womens History Month (in the U.S.), I spoke with Max Dashu about the importance of womens history. This interview and Maxs work is SO fascinating and SO important, I could have talked to her for 100 years. Theres so much that we dont know, so much thats been erased and omitted and misrepresented in history books, when it comes to womens and indigenous histories and it is so incredibly important we know how we came to be, where we came from, and how we ended up with these colonialist, patriarchal systems of power.
