In many ways, we are a result-focused generation. Yes, results are extremely important and winning really matters. But the question is – are we in control of the results? The timing of our wedding, child birth, promotion, wealth creation, success of our new venture etc etc are not totally in our control. In fact, no results are in our total control. In my opinion, what is in our control are ‘Small things’ of life and what is not in our control are ‘Big things’ of life. In that sense, Results are big things of life & Efforts are small things of life. The more we try to control the outcomes, the more we are going to be disappointed.
