In my Name.... There is a difference when we address the devil, - TopicsExpress

In my Name.... There is a difference when we address the devil, demons, sicknesses and circumstances in the name of Jesus and when we prayer to Papa God in his name. They are two different things. One exercises divine authority against a thing but the other exercises a right of standing for fellowship. It affirms his position as the righteousness of God by the name of Jesus. Remember we were justified (made righteous) by the name of our Lord and the Spirit of our God. Yes, the awesome name of Jesus is used in both cases. The reason being that the name of Jesus encapsulate all that God gave to us in Christ. There is nothing greater than the name of Jesus in all of the three realms of heaven, earth and hades. It is just for some ignorance that believers for example like to use words like ’blood of Jesus or holy ghost fire thinking it is more effective or something. They are bible terms but they were never used as the basis for prayer or the command of faith in the New testament. If youre gonna operate a democracy youve gotta follow the constitution. If you want to operate the power of God youve gotta follow the word. People who think the name of Jesus is not sufficient for everything the believer need are not likely to admit it but that is the reason they invent things such as those. In the same fashion they say shout something seven times or twenty times - the very things Jesus told us not to do - repetition or at the end of prayer they have to say amen a number of times and then seal it with Holy Ghost fire and the blood of Jesus else they believe it may not get to the Father (what an alibi to faithlessness?! When it is written He heareth us). No wonder folks struggle to get answers to prayers. One powerful thing about religion is that it has the power to conceal a lack of faith through a form of godliness. Religion has a way of wrapping superstition or mysteries around ignorance. However, we can with open faces look into the mirror (the word of God) and be changed to the image of Jesus, who had answers to every prayer and checked out the devils and sicknesses. We have his name we should be his exact likeness for he said in my name they shall... Understand that we do things in his name. All of Heavens power is wrapped up in it, that is why whatsoever we do or say we do it in the name of Jesus. Glory! We do greater things in his name. Today we have to possess the revelation the early church had of the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. #RealityPost #BelieversAuthority #Jesus #Prayer #Faith Scripture Reference: John 14:12-14; John.16:23-24; Mark.16:15-18; Acts 4:10-12; 2Cor. 3:18; 1John.3:22; 5:14 -15
