In my acceptance&reception of HIS LIFE in salvation is inherent the acceptance of MY DEATH on the Cross. And only One rises from that grave, and it is not me! There is no in between. There is no exchange/transaction one iota short of this. These are the terms.There is only I NO LONGER...BUT CHRIST. I die, He lives! We think in religion that He died that so that we would not have to. The opposite is true. He died SO THAT we could actually die! The flesh is so useless it cant even die of itself. His increase (and to be certain this is THE point!) comes at the expense of my decrease. the kernel of wheat dying...loosing my life (really my death!) to find life/Christ...He must increase, I must decrease...for he have died... The starting point, not the end goal, is me crucified with Christ. The end goal is Christ living in me!
