In my conversation with the clerk at 7 11 just now he told me he was working an 8 to 8 shift and that he had a long day ahead. I mentioned that Sunday is my only day off and I get to sleep in so I didnt even wake up until 9. When I left I thought about how blessed I am to be in the position I am career wise. I make my own hours (kinda) and I control my own fate (kinda) business wise. I get out of my business what I put into it and I truly am my own boss (kinda). All pros and cons considered I love my job and I am truly fullfilled doing what I do. I get paid very well to help people achieve greater physical and mental health. I wear workout shorts, tennis shoes and a comfortable shirt with my companies name and logo on it. And my office has a boxing ring, two octagons, a weight room and tractor tires just to name a few things. I suppose with just about any job you can get burnt out and become ungrateful but when I am reminded of these thing I cant help but have an attitude of gratitude. And to think my first job when I moved to California was working the Sunday brunch at El Torrito. I hit the pavement for two weeks before I got that job and I was happy to have it. Thats right I was Waffle Boy at El Torrito. And man did I hate that part of the job but it humbled me and it was a steady pay check. Years of Blood Sweat and Tears has landed me in the position I am in now and to think I am only getting started... Life is Good... Enjoy your Sunday Folks!
