In my family I am the one black duckling because I am a conservative. The rest of my family are Democrats. I find that they are Democrats for the oddest reasons. My grandmother who is the matriarch of my family has voted Democrat her entire life because apparently, "Democrats are for the poor people and Republicans are for the rich." This may have true in the past especially for those who were born in the late 40s and 50s however now it seem to be that the Democrats are for the destruction the sancity of marriage between one man and one woman and the murder of unborn children. I do not understand how someone could give their approval to these practices whether you agree with a parties economic principles or not. When I think of these things the words of Edmond Burke come to mind, "Evil will prevail when good men do nothing."
