In my grieving over my dad passing away unexpectedly last May, I came across this comforting passage, on death and grieving, in my devotional book called, "God Is In The Tough Stuff". A quote..."When we have died and are in heaven, and look back on earthly life, we shall not see it as a vigorous battlefield from which we have gracefully retired; we shall view it as an insubstantial dream from which we have happily awoken." As soon as I read that passage, i felt such a truth and peace from that perspective and it always gives me comfort when I read that. I wanted to share that quote because I know many of you may also be grieving over the loss of a loved one and may needed to hear something comforting like I did when I read this tonight. ♡
