In my kitchen reconnecting with glass bottles and bulk co-op buying. Looking back on the last 30 years since the first supermarket open in my hometown... hated it. Really, every flatmate I ever had must have at least once been in despair at me not putting the bin out 1 day earlier than I did. Pains me to see a bin fill with so much rubbish in a day when growing up it would take a week to fill it. Weve tried this disposable life, for 30 years, and its not making us happier or more healthy. I LOVE PROGRESS, and the only thing I see that is progress now though, is to return to buying less packaged food and back to the way it was with a whole new modern twist. Move forward. This waste game is stale. (So is your bread but you wouldnt know because its filled with preservatives and other unknown crap thats making you ill but you think its normal because you have forgotten what well is.) Time to turn the alarm off and get out of bed for a happy new day.
